Claims standard

A public claim should be traceable to a current record.

Nepal Trade Craft uses a claim-and-evidence standard so that a website statement does not outrun the underlying product, supplier, team or market evidence.

What requires evidence

Public origin, material, certification, compliance, ethical-sourcing, quality, wellness, price, MOQ, lead-time, capacity and customer claims require a current source before publication.

How a claim is handled

  1. Record the exact wording, source, date, owner and approved use.
  2. Match the wording to the scope of the evidence.
  3. Use item-level fields where a category-wide statement would be misleading.
  4. Review or withdraw the statement when underlying facts change.

What buyers can expect

Where a fact has not been verified for the selected item, we will say so and confirm it in the buyer pack or quote. This is deliberate: it protects the buyer from a polished but unsupported answer.
